How can I help?

How can I help?

We must raise more than 90% of our funds from charitable donations and fundraising. Put simply, without your support we would not be able to continue our life changing work in your community – you really do make all the difference.

There are plenty of ways that you can get involved and support us. We realise that you might not be an adrenaline junkie or time rich but we’re sure that there will be at least one idea below that you can take on and get involved with.

If you would like help with your fundraising or if you would like to talk to us about an idea that you have please do get in touch.

You can call our fundraising team on 01434 606 444 or email fundraising@tynedalehospice.com.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Challenge Events

Do Something Great

Many people have a bucket list of ambitions or challenges they’d like to complete in their lifetime. Whether a challenge to you means climbing to Everest Base Camp, cycling the Coast to Coast, running the Great North Run, giving up smoking, losing a stone or hosting an event – get sponsored for completing your challenge and raise vital funds for the Hospice.

We have suggestions for challenges you can take part in or we’d love to hear your ideas! Why not take on several challenges from the list?

Host your own Big Tynedale Bake

Do you enjoy baking or eating cakes? If you think that you might be the next Mary Berry, or if you are simply looking for a great reason to get friends and family together then we are inviting you to rise to the challenge and host your very own Big Bake in aid of Tynedale Hospice at Home.

This could be a coffee morning, afternoon tea, bake sale, bake-off or, if you are whizz in the kitchen then you could even sell cakes and donate the sales to Tynedale Hospice. Whatever your idea, we can help you and make sure that your event rises to the occasion.

Celebrate with us

Do you have a birthday, anniversary or celebration coming up? If you can’t think of a present or you don’t really want a gift then why not invite friends and family to make a donation to Tynedale Hospice instead?

We can give you collection tins or wedding favour hearts and ensure that all your guests are thanked. For more information please call our fundraising team on 01434 606 444.
